Sarah Havah Theebaum ‘Sargo’ is a visual artist, poet, historian of ideas, art promoter and educator. She proposes a new approach to the mission and meaning of the visual art and the arts in general. She calls it THIS - teaching, healing and spiritual dimensions of the truly artistic expression. Sargo presents her visual metaphors and inner insights to directly talk to the heart of the Viewer. She reaches for abstract and symbolic drawing and painting to lead up to the quiet mountains of meditative reflection (teaching), emotional revival (healing), and spiritual transformation (spiritual journey). About the Technique
Sargo has invented a technique which she calls ‘penpaint’. She puts down multiple layers of different types of pencils, including graphite, colored and oil pencils as well as certain types of pens, with the end result giving an impression of a painting.
